About Sam
Deep play, mystery, creativity and laughter always seem to find their way into the therapy room. I have a direct and sometimes blunt approach. I hold reverence for all of my clients and I believe that meaningful therapy comes from building a strong connection between therapist and client(s).
I have a trauma informed, systemic, relational, and creative lens. There are many ways to experience gender, relationship orientation, and sexuality. I invite transformative dialogues around sex, intimacy and gender as we revel in the process of embracing the beautifully messy aspects of our existence.
I have spent 6 years in the world of social work and 3 years practicing therapy. I love working with individuals and couple’s to better understand themselves and how they relate to the world around them. Together, we can create a safe and nurturing space to gain deeper awareness of the forest you traverse and how you relate to other beings from this place.
The understory of a forest is the layer of vegetation that grows beneath the main canopy of trees. This layer is filled with flora and fauna that has adapted to living in the shadows. My heart is in helping people create meaningful relationships with the parts of us that have been cast out by cultural, familial, and relational stories. Together, we can explore, tend, and nurture your forest.
